Vision Elephant Sanctuary Park Phuket

We have constructed the park as close to nature as possible. In the construction process, we gave top priority to our elephants living a peaceful life without any pressure. Our standards are oriented to the European animal protection laws – without chains or the cruel elephant goad. We want to present elephants in the most natural way to our visitors so that their visit becomes an unforgettable experience. In the near future, our park is expected to enlarge steadily to provide even more elephants with a peaceful and species-appropriate life.

With our project, we wish to set new standards for keeping elephant in Thailand. We dream of more parks being opened with species-appropriate compounds and without chains, goads and riding. On top of that, we strive to support and co-operate with other parks. We would like to help others in realising similar parks with our know-how. Our vision reaches new dimensions: we are aiming to enlarge the elephant population in Thailand, and the “Green Elephant Sanctuary Park Phuket” is supposed to make people aware of the difficult situation of Asian elephants in Thailand. We also believe that we have to reach out to the youth as we want to encourage Thai school classes to visit our park so pupils can learn respectful treatment of the lovable animals. We are aiming for a paradigm change so that no elephant has to suffer any more in Thailand. It is encouraging and satisfying for us to see the positive change into a more respectful treatment of elephants that is slowly but surely taking place.
